Panieńska Tower in Szczecin

The tower was built at the beginning of the 14th century during the construction of the medieval town walls. Currently there is a real estate agency.
The Tower has 9 meters in diameter and has three storeys. The year 1723 in bastion imprisoned convicts. Time was tightly built houses and almost forgot about it. It was unveiled after the uprzątnięciu war rubble imperium. The tower is also called A Seven Coats. This second name associated probably with legend, according to which, the Duke Bogusław X commissioned to produce 7 coats for his beloved wife Anna Jagiellon. The tailor failed to comply with the order, for which he was imprisoned in the tower.
